Quick Laundry Update
After owning using the Bosch washer and dryer for a few months, I have to say I'm really impressed. I think most of the issues people have is thinking they can do laundry like they have a 7 cuft dryer and being disappointed when their clothes aren't dry. For my part, I've always run smaller loads, even on busy laundry days, preferring to do many smaller specialty loads, and this laundry pair is perfect for that. Each load takes anywhere from 1h20m to 2h35m per machine, depending on what cycle you're using; I always use the low heat setting to protect my clothes which tends to add half an hour or so. Sometimes the clothes come out feeling a little damp, but I've found that it is mostly warm steam and they dry out if you shake them out before folding.
The one fatal design flaw I've found is with the dryer heat exchanger. To be specific, my problem is with the removal procedure for cleaning: when you open the exchanger compartment, 2 or 3 cups of water come flooding out the face and bottom of the dryer. Even after a week of sitting, the water in the exchanger seems happy to sit and wait for some unsuspecting sap to pop the compartment open and floor his laundry closet.

I also still haven't finished building a base cabinet for the laundry closet. Nor have I attached the trim I made for the worktop. There is still a box of paint and rollers under the counter.
